At PicoBox, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued for subscriptions and one-time purchases of our digital Chrome extensions. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Our Commitment
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on all first-time purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 7 days of the original transaction date, we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
We believe in fair treatment of our customers and will evaluate each refund request on a case-by-case basis with the customer's best interest in mind.
2. Subscription Plans (Monthly)
For monthly PicoBox Pro subscriptions:
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of their first subscription payment.
- Renewal Charges: After the 7-day window, no refunds are provided for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and your access will continue until the end of the paid period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Service Interruptions: If PicoBox experiences significant downtime (greater than 24 consecutive hours) that prevents you from using the Service, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or credit.
3. One-Time Plugin Purchases ($4.99)
For single-plugin lifetime license purchases:
- 7-Day Refund Window: Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase, provided the license key has not been activated in a Chrome browser.
- Post-Activation: Once a license key is activated and associated with a Chrome browser profile, the purchase is considered consumed and refunds are not available except under the circumstances described in Section 5 below.
- Duplicate Purchases: If you accidentally purchased the same plugin twice, we will refund the duplicate charge upon verification.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will generally not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Requests made after the 7-day refund window has expired
- Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service
- Requests based solely on change of mind after the 7-day period
- Partial refunds for partial months of subscription service
- Refund requests where the primary reason is incompatibility with a third-party service not caused by PicoBox
5. Exceptional Circumstances & Discretionary Refunds
We understand that exceptional circumstances occur. PicoBox will consider refunds outside the standard policy at its sole discretion in cases such as:
- Technical Issues: If a significant bug or technical issue prevents the core functionality of the product from working, and we are unable to provide a fix within 14 business days.
- Billing Errors: Charges resulting from unauthorized use of your payment method will be fully refunded upon verification.
- Misrepresentation: If you believe a product was materially misrepresented in its marketing, please contact us with specific details.
6. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Order ID]"
- Include your registered email address, the order ID or transaction ID from your payment receipt
- Briefly describe the reason for your refund request
- Our support team will respond within 2 business days
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider and bank. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company before contacting us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback. We strongly encourage you to contact our support team first — we are committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly.
Accounts with active chargebacks will be temporarily suspended pending resolution.
8. Digital Product Nature
You acknowledge that PicoBox products are digital goods delivered electronically. Under most jurisdictions, digital products may have limited statutory refund rights once delivered/accessed. Our voluntary 7-day refund guarantee described in this policy provides protections beyond what may be legally required.
