Terms of Service

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PicoBox regarding your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

PicoBox is a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides a suite of Chrome browser extensions including, but not limited to:

• CompanyInsight — AI-powered company intelligence analysis tool
• Google Language Switcher — browser region and language switching utility
• SnapTranslate — real-time webpage translation extension
• FocusPet — Pomodoro-based productivity and focus companion

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice to you. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement. Accounts created by bots or automated methods are not permitted.

You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly basis.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or PicoBox cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal at any time through your account settings.

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, and are subject to their terms of service.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price changes via email or in-product notification.

Subject to these Terms, PicoBox grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service.

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to software code, designs, logos, trademarks, and content, are owned by PicoBox or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the Service other than as explicitly set out herein.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or its underlying technology. You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe any intellectual property or other proprietary rights
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated means to access or scrape the Service beyond what is permitted
• Engage in any activity that interferes with the proper functioning of the Service
• Circumvent any usage limits, quota restrictions, or access controls

Violation of these acceptable use policies may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

Our CompanyInsight extension uses artificial intelligence and large language models to generate analysis content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated
• Such content should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial, legal, or business decisions
• PicoBox makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated analysis
• You use AI-generated content at your own risk and discretion

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

PICOBOX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE IS FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PICOBOX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute through negotiation, you and PicoBox agree to submit to binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted on a confidential basis.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account dashboard settings. Upon account termination, all associated data may be deleted after a 30-day grace period.
